Beautiful and rare, antique silk 45 star flag on a 8″ wood staff designed to be inserted into a 7″ wood tube with brass fittings on each end. The card which was with the flag says; “Flag used by Lucieu Stark in Spanish American War when serving in District of Columbia Naval Reserve” (The back of the card says) “Torpedo Boat NO 3 Florence USS Pence” (Not sure if that is the correct name of the boat because its hard to read) Circa 1898 Flag Size:7″x10″ Frame Size:21″x24″ Rarity Rating; 2 Rated on a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being the rarest.
