Very rare authentic antique Grand Union Flag from 1876. Hand painted on starched linen. Had a hand written tag hand sewn to back from a museum. The Grand Union Flag or Continental Colors was the flag that flew over the original thirteen colonies controlled by the British. It was our Nations first flag until Congress got around to picking the new flag with 13 stars.
