Spectacular Large Confederate UCV Flag
If you are looking for a "Great" Confederate or UCV Flag this is it.
Found in Dallas Texas a few years ago.
Dates to 1890-1900
Made from a US Flag as you can see the 6" wide US Flag stripes from the backside.
Made from many sections of a US Flag and treadle sewn together. Hoist side is tacked to a square stick that is about 1" square.
A truly original, spectacular and authentic UCV (United Confederate Veterans) Flag.
This flag is a real show piece and will be the highlight of any Civil war collection.

Extremely rare, one of a kind, actual Id'ed Civil War sewing kit with a hand painted & hand sewn 13 Star Flag.
Circa 1862-1865.
Most Civil War soldiers carried a sewing kit called a "housewife".
This belonged to Ebenezer J. Pearce. Mustered in on 09/08/1862 into "G" Co. Il 91st Inf.
Mustered out on 07/12/1865 at Mobile Al,.
Was a GAR Member Post #512 in Whitehall Il
Died 04/14/1907.
An extremely rare fantastic flag and Civil War item.

Extremely Rare 47 Star GAR Post Flag
An exceedingly rare 47 Star American Flag.
Also a GAR (Grand Army of The Republic, Union Civil War Veterans) Post Flag.
The stars are arranged in a very rare star pattern called a medallion.
Also at the center of the star arrangement is the GAR Membership Badge which resembles the Medal Of Honour. This is very rare to be found on GAR Flags.
The "Post 149" Stamp is the nicest and most elaborate Post ID I have seen on a GAR Post Flag.
Also what is noteworthy about this flag is that it only has 47 Stars which dates it to 1912.
There are virtually no 47 Star Flags because they were instantly obsolete as the 48 Star Flag also was introduced and became the official flag on July 4th 1912.

A rare antique UCV Post re-union Confederate Battle Flag.
The UCV was made up of actual Civil War Confederate Soldier veterans.
Formed in 1875. They had Post re-unions and other events all through the year. This was a UCV Post Flag.
Circa 1875-1900
Made of cotton, machine sewn with canvas hoist and rare zinc grommets.
There is some damage due to age on the lower left corner shown in the photo.
This flag will still look great framed.

USS Texas Documented 1928 Cruise
This is quite a find as anything Texas is unusual to find and is quite collectable.
USS Texas cruise January 8th 1928 to many ports of call.
Includes the tracking map, a period photo of the ship with all flags flying. A authentic USS Texas blue silk hat band and a 7 star pennant.
This was owned by a seaman from the USS Texas on this cruise but his name has been lost to time.
All authentic items found in a small wood box and re-mounted and archivaly framed.
