A wonderful 13 Star Flag made of wool with hand cut & hand sewn stars with treadle sewn stripes & edges, with brass grommets. Has a few holes, tears and freys.
Dates to 1870-1876
It has a name stenciled on the hoist, A.N. Foster

A nice old Betsy Ross flag in great condition.
Made of cotton with zinc grommets.
Hand cut and hand sewn stars.
Machine sewn stripes & edges.
The white has faded to a tan color the red & blue are still strong.
It also has 3 of the 4 original canvas ties attached to the hoist.
Marked Reliance.
