Dates from 1877 to 1890.

With rare star pattern, stars are arranged in a circle called a Medallion pattern.
Made of rare starched gauze.

This 43 Star dates to 1890 when five States were added to the Union at one time on July 4th 1890.
The 43 Star represents Idaho.

Rare & Historical 39 Star Flag which dates to 1889-1890

This 39 Star Banner was cut from a bolt of 39 Star patriotic bunting used at a political speech given by Teddy Roosevelt who was Vice president on the ticket in 1889 with William Mckinley.
This speech (see photo to right showing Roosevelt standing under this 39 Star Flag bunting) was given in North Dakota as pictured to the right with Civil War Veterans at his side.
Photo copy of photo comes with this flag.
