A rare 1939 oil painting of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and King George VI signed N. Levy
By listed artist N. (Nat) Levy
A charactization oil painting of the two famous sunjects produced for a poster.
The poster is at The FDR Presidential Museum.
King George VI & Queen Elizabeth visited Canada & The United States in May-June 1939
The artist, N.Levy was an accomplished artist and supplemented his income by painting charactures of famous subjects of which he then produced posters which he sold.
Nat Levy 1896-1984 San Francisco Ca.
The painting is in very good condition framed in the original frame.

Stage Coach Door Panel With Flag
A wonderful and most unique piece of Americana.
A hand painted stage coach door panel with a hand painted American Flag on the front.
It is my estimation that the stage door dates from the 1880's and the flag was apinted on at some later time.
The door is painted a great dark green with incredible and beautiful pin strip embellishments.
It is said this door came from Texas but I cannot prove that fact.
A great piece for a western collection or collector.

Painted on board, it is believed to be the artist first draft for the family to review before the actual portrait was done.
On the back is scratched mark twain JCB which is believed to be James Carroll Beckwith a listed American artist.
Beckwith did complete a similar but larger portrait of Twain in 1890.
