Made of four historical and rare 39 Star US Flags and other rare period patriotic textiles. The flags used were patented in 1875.
Two of the flags have the stars arranged in circles called a medallion star pattern

This quilt was made for the 1776 - 1876 American Centennial

President during this period was Ulysses S. Grant.
