Extremely rare, one of a kind, actual Id'ed Civil War sewing kit with a hand painted & hand sewn 13 Star Flag. Most Civil War soldiers carried a sewing kit called a "housewife". This belonged to Ebenezer J. Pearce. Mustered in on 09/08/1862 into "G" Co. Il 91st Inf. Mustered out on 07/12/1865 at Mobile Al, Was a GAR Member Post #512 in Whitehall Il Died 04/14/1907.
